江苏省苏北人民医院，即扬州大学附属苏北人民医院，是南京医科大学、大连医科大学、江苏大学扬州临床医学院、徐州医科大学扬州临床学院。医院创办于1900年，1994年被卫生部评定为全省首批9家三级甲等综合医院之一，是扬州地区历史最久、规模最大、功能最全的三级甲等综合性医院，承担着扬州及毗邻地区近千万人口的医疗和保健任务。

Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital (NJPH), also known as Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital Affiliated to Yangzhou University, serves as the Yangzhou Clinical Medical Colleges of Nanjing Medical University, Dalian Medical University, and Jiangsu University, as well as Xuzhou Medical University. It was founded in 1900 and evaluated as one of the first 9 Tertiary Level A General hospitals in Jiangsu Province by the Ministry of Health in 1994. As the oldest, largest, and most comprehensive Tertiary Level A General Hospital in Yangzhou, it undertakes medical and healthcare tasks for nearly 10 million people in Yangzhou and its surrounding areas.

是江苏省日间医疗质控中心挂靠单位、江苏省首家通过电子病历6级评审医院和智慧服务4级评审医院、国家卫健委首批日间医疗质量规范化管理哨点医院、江苏省公立医院高质量发展省级试点医院，成功通过国家干细胞临床研究机构和项目双备案。

Currently, the hospital is the affiliated institution of the Jiangsu Provincial Day Medical Care Quality Control Center. It is the first hospital in Jiangsu Province to pass Level 6 Review of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Level 4 Evaluation of Smart Service and is one of the first sentinel hospitals for Standardized Quality Management of Day Medical Care designated by the National Health Commission (NHC). It is also a provincial pilot hospital for the high-quality development among public hospitals in Jiangsu Province. Additionally, it has successfully obtained dual national accreditation for both stem cell clinical research institution and project.

In the Performance Evaluation of National Tertiary Public Hospitals, our hospital has been graded A+ for 6 consecutive years, with the best ranking of the 48th in the country and the 3rd in the province. 医院现有在岗职工3300余人，卫生专业技术人员3000余人，其中博士258人、硕士1029人。固定资产超25亿元，设备总值超12亿元。医院编制床位2521张，2025年门急诊总诊疗230.72万人次，出院病人15.24万人次，手术总量5.87万台次（国考口径），其中开展日间手术1.25万例，出院患者平均住院日6.1天。互联网医院开展云门诊17.51万例，上线以来累计服务患者近70万人次，服务人次位居全省前列。

The hospital currently employs over 3,300 staff members, including more than 3,000 healthcare professionals. Among them, 258 hold doctoral degrees and 1,029 hold master’s degrees. With fixed assets exceeding 2.5 billion RMB and medical equipment valued at over 1.2 billion RMB, the hospital operates 2,521 authorized inpatient beds. In 2025, it recorded 2.3072 million outpatient and emergency visits, discharged 152,400 inpatients, and performed 58,700 surgeries (according to national evaluation standards), including 12,500 day surgeries. The average length of hospital stay was 6.1 days. Additionally, its internet hospital platform conducted 175,100 outpatient consultations, serving nearly 700,000 patients since its launch, ranking among the top providers in the province by service volume.

医院目前为“一院两区”模式，苏北人民医院开发区分院与主院区为同一法人，用地面积约102亩，总建筑面积约20万平方米，预计开放床位1300张，2024年1月7日已逐步投入使用，目前开放床位460张。开发区分院全面投入使用后，医院总用地面积达225亩，总建筑面积超40万平方米，总开放床位将达3800张。分院配备TOMO、瓦里安TrueBeam“速光刀”直线加速器、GE256排超高端CT（Revolution）等高端医疗设备。开发区分院按照“专科特色明显的综合性医院”总体要求，全力打造肿瘤、全科、生殖医学、产前诊断、分子诊断、血透等特色学科，与主院区实现功能互补、同质管理、特色发展。

The hospital currently operates under a "one hospital, two campuses" model. The Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital Development Zone Branch shares the same legal entity as the main campus. It covers a site area of approximately 102 mu, with a total floor area of about 200,000 square meters. It is projected to provide 1,300 beds and began to operate on January 7, 2024. Currently, 460 beds are available. Upon its full operational launch, the hospital's total site area will reach 225 mu, with a total floor area exceeding 400,000 square meters and a combined bed capacity of 3,800.

 The branch hospital is equipped with high-end medical devices such as TOMO (Helical Tomotherapy), Varian TrueBeam "Speed Light Knife" linear accelerator, and GE 256-slice ultra-high-end CT (Revolution). Aligned with the overarching goal of becoming a "comprehensive hospital with distinct specialty strengths," the Development Zone Branch is dedicated to building prominent disciplines including Oncology, General Practice, Reproductive Medicine, Prenatal Diagnosis, Molecular Diagnosis, and Hemodialysis. It aims to achieve functional complementarity, homogeneous management, and distinctive development in coordination with the main campus.

医院现有省级临床重点专科28个（含1个建设单位），市级临床重点专科25个。重症医学科、普通外科是国家临床重点专科建设单位，普通外科、重症医学科、麻醉科是江苏省“十四五”医学重点学科建设单位，耳鼻咽喉头颈外科、介入放射科、药学部获批省级临床重点专科培育项目。现有博导40人，硕导280人。药物临床试验国家备案专业27个，有国家级博士后科研工作站，承担扬州大学、南京大学、南京医科大学、大连医科大学、徐州医科大学、中国药科大学、皖南医学院、江苏大学等高校博士、硕士研究生培养任务。

The hospital currently has 28 provincial-level key clinical specialties (including one under development) and 25 municipal-level key clinical specialties. Its Department of Critical Care Medicine and Department of General Surgery are designated as national key clinical specialty units under development. The Department of General Surgery, Department of Critical Care Medicine, and Department of Anesthesiology are recognized as key medical disciplines under development in Jiangsu Province during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Meanwhile, the Department of Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, Department of Interventional Radiology, and Department of Pharmacy have been granted provincial-level key clinical specialty cultivation projects.

The hospital employs 40 doctoral supervisors and 280 master’s supervisors. It holds national accreditation for 27 drug clinical trial specialties and operates a national postdoctoral research station. Additionally, it is responsible for training doctoral and master’s students in collaboration with multiple universities, including Yangzhou University, Nanjing University, Nanjing Medical University, Dalian Medical University, Xuzhou Medical University, China Pharmaceutical University, Wannan Medical College, and Jiangsu University.

2015年4月，在扬州市委市政府主导下组建苏北人民医院医疗集团，共有成员单位27个，牵头建立了46个名医工作室、18个联合病区、23个专科专病联盟和7个市级基层特色科室孵化中心。

In April 2015, under the leadership of the Yangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Government, the Northern Jiangsu People's Hospital Medical Group was established, comprising 27 member units. The Medical Group has led the establishment of 46 Renowned Physician Studios, 18 Joint Wards, 23 Specialized Disease Alliances, and 7 Municipal Grassroots Specialty Department Incubation Centers.
